Fitness Assessments
A pre-screening of medical history will be conducted in conjunction with functional assessments to help us understand your baseline capacity. The information gathered helps us to implement an individualised program that suits your capacity, needs and overall goals.
Strength & Conditioning
1:1 sessions aimed at lifting weights to optimise health, increase muscle strength, power and endurance, improve integrity of bone and connective tissues, increase metabolism, increase insulin sensitivity, reduce the rate of injury and slow age-related declines like strength and bone loss.
Rehab Reformer Pilates
1:1 sessions focused on supporting individuals throughout their rehabilitation. Rehab reformer Pilates aims to correct poor movement patterns, improve and maintain core strength, improve range of motion and posture.
Funding for Exercise Physiology
MEDICARE
Exercise physiology is covered through an enhanced primary care plan (EPC). A care plan can be prescribed by your General Practitioner if you have been suffering from a condition or chronic plan for longer than three months. The plan allows you a rebate for a total of five sessions in a calendar year with a small out of pocket expense.
NDIS
NDIS covers Exercise Physiology under two categories, Improved Daily Living and Improved Health and Well-being.
DVA
You may be able to receive Exercise Physiology services under the DVA Scheme if you have an assessed clinic need. Department of Veteran Affairs Gold or White Card holders will incur no charge for their sessions.
